Clarity in chaos.
Feeling stuck?
Let's connect!
Personal Psychotherapy & Coaching
After your initial introductory call, we can collaborate at a pace and rhythm that suits you. Most clients start with a block of 12 weekly sessions to strike a balance between reflection, becoming present and preparing for a better future; but you are in control of our exploration together at all times.

Personal Psychotherapy and Coaching FAQ
What does ongoing psychotherapy and coaching support look like?
After all, lasting change takes time. And although many clients see changes in their lives following an initial block of 12 weekly sessions, most stick around to collaborate over a longer period.
Whatever your timeline looks like, I'm here to support you on your terms. And our ongoing work together remains a safe space of connection, freedom and choice, without any ongoing commitment or contractual obligation.
If you're a previous client who's ready to reconnect for the next step then I look forward to continuing our collaborative journey. Contact me to schedule your next session.
How do our psychotherapy and coaching sessions work?
I'm not going to sugarcoat this – life is hard. Hardships manifest in different ways for all of us; but whatever your individual experiences are, your needs and feelings are valid.
Bringing the best parts of psychotherapy and coaching together, I work with diverse humans from all walks of life – yep, that means people just like you – to help you uncover your unique strengths and move towards a future that's fulfilling, sustainable and meaningful.
However you choose to connect, our time together will look a lot like this…
- A no charge, 15-minute introductory call to check our chemistry and see if I am the right fit to support you.
- A paid introductory session before choosing how and when you want to proceed. Most people start with 6 to 12 weekly sessions (this is flexible).
- All sessions are held online via Zoom so you can work with an environment and schedule that makes you feel comfortable.
- A non-judgemental safe and confidential space to be seen, heard and valued.
- Collaborative sessions that reflect on your past experiences and how they show up in your present.
- Use of science-backed psychotherapy and coaching tools tailored to your unique needs.
- Co-creation of a framework for change to allow you to activate a purposeful future.
- No formal commitment to continue other than a requirement of 48 hours notice for cancellation before a scheduled session.
- Rates are dependent on your income, see below for more detail.
How long do I have to wait to see you?
Once you are on my waitlist, the wait time to see me is hard to get exact. We will discuss this on our introductory call. The wait could be anywhere between 2 to 6 months, but this could be much shorter or longer depending on a number of factors. To get on my waitlist, book a free 15-minute introductory call here.
Are our sessions in person or online?
All of my sessions for personal psychotherapy & coaching are online using Zoom. In-person conversations are available upon request for executive & high performance leadership coaching programs.
I feel stuck and want help, but isn't therapy for the "messed up" or the broken?
Definitely not! Many people could benefit from a collaborative, reflective conversation with another human being with no judgement. A misconception I hear a lot is people thinking, "If I'm not struggling at a 10/10, I don't deserve a conversation with a therapist". This is not at all true.
You do not need to be intensely suffering to reach out for help. Some of my clients begin our conversations from a place of being well and want to explore how to make their lives even better.
I need a quick solution to my problem. Can you give me that?
I work with my clients over a longer period of time towards fundamental and sustainable change. I do not offer the type of therapy or support that is short-term or which is targeted towards symptomatic relief or surface-level behavioural change.
This is about fully exploring yourself in the world, building the capacity to take ownership of your challenges and discovering your personal capacity to make your life possible.
I need someone to make me accountable. Can you help me with that?
I support people towards self-accountability. If you are searching for someone to hold you accountable, that's not what I do. But I do work collaboratively to help people navigate to self-ownership and internally energised lives that feel resilient and sustainable from the inside out.
What are the differences between psychotherapy and psychology?
This is a challenging question to answer because there are plenty of psychologists who practice like psychotherapists and many psychotherapists who practice like psychologists – pretty confusing right? However, there is much crossover between the two roles and the skills, experiences and tools we use. At the risk of oversimplifying a lot of complexity I often describe the key differences as follows:
Psychologists: Might start with our behaviour first, then support us to realise, connect and change parts of our identity, life story and meaning-making in the world.
Psychotherapists: Often start with parts of our identity first, our life story and how we create meaning in the world which in time affects and changes our behaviour.
I support my clients by combining the best parts of psychotherapy and coaching so we can reflect on the past, become present to your current experiences and envision what the future could look like as you start activating it.
Can I use my Mental Health Care Plan from my GP or claim through my private health insurer to cover the costs of our session together?
No. Mental Health Care Plans fund sessions with psychologists and social workers, but as a registered Psychotherapist, my sessions are not covered by Mental Health Care plans or Medicare payments. Some psychotherapists might be covered by private health insurance however I am not.
I am in crisis and urgently need to see someone. Can you help?
Unfortunately, I do not offer crisis support. If you have challenges with active addictions, severe suicidality, personality disorders or ongoing psychosis, please explore and connect with the right support below:
