Privacy Policy
1.0 Privacy Notice
Privacy is the foundation of trust.
In my practice—whether we are in a therapy room, a boardroom, or you are simply reading my work online—privacy isn’t just a legal checkbox. It is a fundamental requirement for the meaningful conversations we get to have.
The Gist
I only collect the information I need to collaborate with you or keep you updated. I don’t sell your data, I don’t use tracking, and I treat your digital information with the same clinical level of confidentiality I bring to my sessions.
What I Collect & Why
- Contact Information: When you fill out a form or share any details with me, I collect your name and email and any other relevant information so we can properly connect. I do not use this information for any other purpose. The only time this might be used is for marketing purposes you have opted into.
- Usage Data: My website uses basic, non-invasive analytics to see which pages, articles or services people find most helpful. This helps me create better content for you, not build a profile on you.
- Clinical Records: If we enter into a formal psychotherapy or coaching relationship, your data is handled under much stricter professional standards, which we will discuss and sign off on together before we begin.
Your Agency
You have the right to know what data I have, to ask me to delete it, or to tell me to stop sending you emails. Just unsubscribe, reply to any message or contact me directly at hello@andrewsloan.com.au.
Security
I use secure, encrypted services for my mailing lists and data storage. While the internet is never 100% "hack-proof," I do the work to ensure your information is as safe as humanly (and ddigitally) possible.
2.0 Copyright Information
Respect the work. Share the ideas.
The Core Principle
Everything you see on this site—the words, the frameworks, the videos, and the "Why Things Feel F*cked" book and concepts—are the result of years of clinical practice, research, and writing. It is my intellectual property, and I protect it so that I can continue to ensure my insights can make the most generative impact in the world.
What You Can Do
- Share with Credit: I love it when my ideas spark conversations. You are welcome to share snippets or quotes from my articles or book, provided you clearly attribute them to Andrew Sloan and link back to this site www.andrewsloan.com.au.
- Personal Use: Feel free to download resources or read my articles for your own personal growth. That is why they are here.
What You Cannot Do
- Commercial Use: You may not use my frameworks, writing, or concepts in your own paid coaching, workshops, or products without a formal licensing agreement.
- No "Scraping": Please do not use my content or "repurpose" it into your own content without permission. It dilutes the work and could misrepresent the depth behind it.
Permissions
If you want to use my work for something bigger—like a training program, a publication, or a partnership—just ask. I value collaboration, and I’m always open to a conversation about how we can work together properly.
